This wonderful book reflects the lives of white American African American maids in the southern United States in the late 1960s.
It is a novel that introduces us to the subject of racism and clacisism as well as being an inspiration to the struggle and the rejection of conformity. It also addresses the issue of being different and not meeting the expectations of society and how it is more important to pursue what you want more than to obey the opinion of others.
Since then it is a book deserving of more than one reading preferably before seeing the film based on it that bears the same name.

The book Thief
Markus Zusak

Narrated by death, it is one of the best novels set during World War II. He tells us the life of a young woman whose story begins after stealing, without knowing how to read yet, the Gravedigger's Manual that falls into the snow of the poor man who buries his little brother.
It is a story of hope and goodness between suffering, fear, poverty and misery. Kindness that sometimes causes more problems and a risk of crossing the narrator earlier, in order to prevent another from doing so.
It is a beautifully shaped novel with a sublime background worth reading.

Underestimated as a children's book The Little Prince is a book that is said to be read at least three times, once as a child, once as a middle-aged, and once as an older one for its message and how it coped with age.
